First day of being the father of a teenage GIRL

A dinner feast of Penne pasta with her Uncle's yummy Bolognese sauce and a triple layer chocolate cake with PINK frosting-just what the birthday girl ordered (and we wish her uncle had been there to enjoy it with us)

Only a few more weeks left to bake & a new Princess will be added to our crazy family-YEA!!!

First Day of School 2009

August brought back to school for everyone. Mom says yea to getting back to a regular routine!!!

Yes, he is taller than his sister!!

Even the little guys got in on the back to school action-preschool that is!

Smeeks

Took the little guys & the Princess to Smeeks a local independently owned candy shop today. It was absolutely adorable, and the kids had a blast (for about an hour, YEA!) and we supported a local business

Oh my so much to see and TOUCH and candy to boot, woo hoo!

This is why I am such a tired Mama at the end of the day, and this is BEFORE he had ANY candy! If I could figure out a way to bottle that energy I would be a very wealthy woman!

For those of you who do not live in the Southwest we thought we would share with you what we do when it is 115 degrees outside...

Harass our Mom in the pool

Swim like a fish in the pool



Eat yummy Otter Pops in the pool

Hang with our brother in the pool

Hang out, next to the pool

Watch Daddy set a bad example into the pool

Do gymnastics stuff, into the pool

Hang with our Mommy & make silly faces, in the pool...

...and then we go inside & take a nap in the air conditioning!

Just another day at the ballpark!
